It doesn’t matter what you think you are entitled to do to your sub, you must ALWAYS follow the laws of your country/region which in most cases means you MUST get permission from your sub in order to make a permanent marking on them. It does not change the balance of power for a sub to grant permission for such a thing nor does it change the balance if they deny the request. It is not a matter of domination but a matter of law. If your dedication to his training warrants a permanent mark it is up to you to negotiate a way of doing it that satisfies you both.
